The head of the Research Center of Traditional and Complementary Medicine of Arak University of Medical Sciences said: The license of this center was obtained from the Council of the Development of Universities in 2016 and from the second half of 2016, the activity in this research center began officially. 

According to Webda Markazi, Dr. Ahmad Akbari added: "At the beginning of the project, the five-year strategic plan of the center was developed with the help of colleagues, especially Jamal Amri, an expert of the center. Fortunately, we are two or three times ahead of the strategic plan of the center." 

The head of the Research Center for Traditional and Complementary Medicine of Arak University of Medical Sciences stated: During this period, about 120 research projects and dissertations have been approved in this center That till now, about 80 articles have been published in prestigious domestic and foreign scientific journals. Of this number, in 2016, 5 articles in 2019, 11 and in 2018, with a significant increase of 300%, the number of articles reached 29 articles, and in 2019, with the good efforts of colleagues, it reached 35 articles. He stated: In addition to the constructive interaction that we have with various fields within the university, we also have good cooperation with other scientific research centers in the country and abroad centers, which have joint articles with the universities of Tehran, Shiraz, Kashan and others. 

Our center shares articles with researchers from Canada, Croatia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
