Mission, vision and introduction of Arak Nursing and Midwifery Faculty

The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery will be committed to achieve its goals, which are in line with the vision of 1404, by relying on its expert human resources. Based on this, the faculty will try to create an environment based on participation and optimal use of all its teaching and non-teaching forces to obtain the best teaching and research ranks among the same level colleges and also improve its rank during the program.
  Introduction:
  The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery was established in 1365 and accepted students in the two fields of midwifery at the associate level and nursing at the undergraduate level. In 1373, students were also accepted in the fields of operating room, intelligence and family health at the associate level.
 
In 1372, the night course of nursing and midwifery courses also started in this faculty. The admission of native students of Khomein city for the nursing course in Khomein was approved in 1371, and the nursing course of Saveh city also started accepting students in 1373.

From 2016, the fields of intelligence and family health were transferred to the faculty of paramedicine. Since 2009, the field of midwifery has been upgraded from an associate degree to a bachelor degree.

This faculty started accepting undergraduate nursing students from 1378, which continued until 1384.

The associate degree in emergency medicine started in the second half of 1986-1985 with a capacity of 30 students and in a semi-focused manner. Currently, undergraduate courses in nursing, midwifery, and operating room, as well as continuous undergraduate courses in emergency medicine, are open in this faculty.

From the first semester of 1389-1990, the intensive care nursing master's course and from the first semester of 1392-1393, the master's course of internal nursing-surgery with a capacity of 8 students has been opened in this faculty, and the students of this course are currently studying.
In addition, the students of the master's course in midwifery counseling have been engaged in continuing their studies since October of the academic year 2013-2013 with a capacity of 6 students. Children's nursing master's degree students have been studying in this faculty since October of the academic year 2013-2014.
